Well-after the Cold Chain Summit, NAMBoard has not stopped capacitating farmers for sustainable commercial production. NAMBoard’s Farmer Support Development Unit invited Mr. Vusi Mavuso -Horticulture Specialist from the Ministry of Agriculture to lead training of farmers and the public at large in all the Eswatini regions on fruit tree farming and management. These training series ran from 01 October to 17th October 2019.
Field Day
The seed potato field day was held on the 25th September 2019 by the agriculture research centre in partnership with the Taiwan Technical Mission. In attendance were stakeholders from different organisations, namely; UNESWA, Luyengo, National Agricultural Marketing Board (NAMBoard), Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise, Ministry of Agriculture (extension), and world vision, as well as farmers from across the country.
